3. Bevagna (Local Commune)

The first historical news about Bevagna dates back to the Roman conquest of Umbria , with the famous battle of Sentino in 295 BC. Bevagna was known as a centre of the Umbrian route and famous for its sheep farming and cattle breeding.

Trevi is an ancient town and comune in Umbria, Italy, on the lower flank of Mount Serano overlooking the wide plain of the Clitunno river system. Located in the Province of Perugia, it is 10 km south-southeast of Foligno and 20 km north of Spoleto.

Assisi is a hill town in central Italy’s Umbria region. It was the birthplace of St. Francis (1181–1226), one of Italy’s patron saints. The Basilica of St. Francis is a massive, 2-level church, consecrated in 1253. Its 13th-century frescoes portraying the life of St. Francis have been attributed to Giotto and Cimabue, among others. The crypt houses the saint’s stone sarcophagus.

7. Montefalco

Montefalco, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves , sits atop a hill overlooking the plain of the Topino and Clitunno rivers . Because of this favorable panoramic position, it has been known since 1568 as the "Balcony of Umbria." From here, on clear days, various vantage points offer a 360° panorama that spans the entire valley between Perugia and Spoleto , from the slopes of the Sub-Apennines to those of the Martani Mountains.
